With the intention of evoking the feeling of the beach, this apartment on Miami Beach features wonderful open spaces that capture the colors of the sand and sea – seen from the full height windows throughout. This “ready to wear” environment was created by using luxurious yet casual textures and materials – always with a mind towards function and durability. The sensuous lines of the contemporary furnishings are the perfect counterpart to the crisp shell of white walls, polished concrete flooring, and floor to ceiling glass. Organic materials – weathered teak, drift wood, capiz shell, and cork – were used as accents in the millwork, lighting, and accessories – all contributing to the more relaxed lifestyle of this home.
